T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Full Stack Developer to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) EDOS program. The overall mission of this program is to modernize the IRS legacy Tax processing systems and is critical to the overall modernization of the IRS to improve taxpayer experience, increase voluntary compliance, and reduce the IRS’s reliance on costly and unsustainable legacy technology. This role will focus on building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications using modern Java and React technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. As part of a talented software team, you’ll work on mission-critical applications and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in process and 2+ years of overall experience
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must possess an active IRS MBI Clearance and have current GFE
  • Java Back-End: Strong proficiency in Java, including a solid understanding of Java design patterns.
  • Spring Framework: Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
  • React Front-End: Strong programming knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
  • Web Fundamentals: Experience translating graphic designs into responsive user interfaces using HTML and CSS.
  • API development: Experience building APIs that enable communication between the front and back ends (knowledge in documentation with Swagger is a plus)
  • Server-Side and Cloud: Experience server-side technologies (Java, Node.js, Python, etc.)  and cloud services (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift)
  • DevOps: Well-versed in managing application development with DevOps tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
  • Agile: Experience working on an Agile team and a strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 – $87,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
